I'm now blogging on my phone, yeeps…
Ok… another wasted holiday, super sad. I never read a English book in this holiday, and I have not spoken more than 30 sentences of English a day since atc, which makes me extremely worried about going to sch. And I hav a gd reason to be so… I don't know anyone well in my new class, and no batch mates, so sometimes I may jus forget some things…:( my English sounds horribly weird cos I haven't used English for some time.
Anyway, I just feel really unaccomplished and super sad cos I just wasted one whole holiday and sch is starting next week in a very unfamiliar environment, and I really worry about settling in:(:(

Tmr I'll probably post a long post about my reflections for 2010.
It's not a great year, esp in December…

and i realised, ridiculously, that I'm growing old.

there's something creepy about my life. It is always following a trend. I can't make judgements now, but its there.

Plans for holidays (tentative)

Whee, EOYs are over... but i would say its a relief rather than excitement or whatever... Somehow the feeling isn't as great as i have expected, i just feel quite empty now that there is nothing to look forward to (which is near).
i'm so proud of myself that i managed to not post until after EOYs:):)
Here's a list of what I think I will like to do in the following days/few months:

• watch chinese dramas and Harry Potter(this is the most exciting!!! my shenhua and xianjianqixiazhuan; i missed the half-blood prince)
• Play (obviously, but there's sth ... i'm playing on computer, so fun)
• Earn money (idk how)
• Read books (the type which i like which is private and i guess only one person in this world knows, not my mother :P)
• learn how to make stuffs, i think i'll be buying some beads:)
• bully my brothers (too bad)
• sleep 12 hours a day (not very logical since i have to come to school, but its just a target, must grow taller...i somehow need to sleep more than normal people to survive)
• learn how to cook(its getting ridiculous, i don't think i'll ever do that, the most is obvious how untidily people cook)

I sound really childish but never mind, i've never been matured.

and here's another list of things which i have to do whether i like it or not (not that i don't like them):

• go to school for a few more days

i admit that i'm very childish...

i think i'll just spend most of my time idling aimlessly around... life is so sad...

I decided that this should be the last post before the EOYS :O. It shall be sth interesting (and confusing), on syllogymansium, which I came across in a book.
Here's a test. There are seven arguments to assess, and you'll have to say whether each one is valid or invalid. Don't look at the bottom till you're done. So take out a piece of paper and start doing now:)

1) If man-made global warming is really happening, then the polar ice caps will be melting.

The polar ice caps are melting.

THerefore man-made global warming is really happening.

2) If acupuncture tended to make people ill, then it would be foolish to try it.
Acupuncture does not tend to make people ill.
THerefore, it is not foolish to try it.

3) All men are bastards.
Some bastards are attractive.
THerefore some men are attractive.

4) Today isn't both sunny and cold.
Today isn't sunny.
Therefore today is cold.

5) No vegans are fish eaters.
Some fish eaters are not vegetarians.

Ok, the results are really simple. All seven of these syllogisms is invalid.. :)
Cool right?? yup.. It turns out that I'm too lazy to explain anything, or too busy. Ok, I'll explain after EOYs, meanwhile, have fun googling around :)

A more light hearted post now. I shall just drop some things which isn't worth it to care about, and focus on what's important.. :)

Adaptation

There is a word called adaptation...
I don't mean it the same way
as the one used in science and geography,
on plants or animals, but on humans..
Adaptation is the process,
when one changed from its oldself,
to one which suit the environment
I'm referring back to animals again,
but isn't it the same way for many people?
I am in no position to say whether its good or bad, its just the way it is.

ok, I keep seeing this when I go heidou... its pretty interesting at the start, and I appluad for the talented person who came up with this, but I see it too many time and its kind of annoying... btw, I love heidou cos the videos there are complete and very clear, just that they take some time to load as its in China...

I was reading 少年文摘 when I came across a very interesting paragraph....:

Tired

Today is the last day of school and I feel like really sick and tired. Once a problem is just solved, another just come along the way :(
There's so many things to worry about... I'm so bad at many things...:( (super sad) and it doesn't help when you have s super irritating brother who is like so spoilt and everything.
I'm like really slow when doing indices:(

Immigration:
the movement of people between countries is known as immigration
Why do people go migrate to somewhere where they have lesser priority than the locals when it comes to jobs, and the locals usually give them work which they don't want to do themselves...?? To think that singapore can actually attract foreign talents if they always leave the good things for the locals, that's unfair, since they commented that they'll uphold meritocracy and what incorruptility as their NE message we know even in primary schools... and we did a skit on that in P6, yay:)


speaking of primary school, i really miss the time where everyone is so childish, naive and innocent??? that sounds so bad but i mean it in a good way.... I mean, people won't go putting on "smiling faces" or look happy when they don't or dadada...... I don't really know how to put it, but it just feel better that way.... but i guess its a stage of growing up and maturing. I realised most around me have grown up while I'm just being too childish and naive...
